Title: Financial Analyst
The Financial Analyst will support the day-to-day project-driven and ad hoc analysis. This position reports to Senior Manager, Finance and will be based in the Herndon, VA Headquarters. A hybrid schedule will be available after the individual hired has gotten acclimated with EdgeConnex's team, processes, and systems.
Primary Responsibilities
- Produce monthly reports with key metrics, financial results, and budget variance analysis for key stakeholders including executive management, shareholders and lenders
- Support key reporting activities, namely to shareholders/management and customer contract review and KPIs
- Develop KPIs and tracking across the company
- Work with departmental leaders to develop and track operating expenses on a monthly basis
- Assist with cash forecasting and capital expenditure tracking and approval process
- Assist with development of annual budget and interim forecasts
- Automate reporting across systems
- Ad hoc and project specific analyses

Experience/Education
- 1+ years of Analyst or Staff Accounting experience at a financial accounting firm, financial institution, or within corporate finance team at high-growth company
- Strong knowledge and background in finance and accounting as well as Excel
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics a strong plus)
