Title: Capital Budget Analyst
The Capital Budget Analyst will support the day to day project modeling and analysis within Procurement and Logistics. This position reports to the Capital Budget Manager.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support Finance and Executive team on Benchmark pricing for Capital Budgets using internal and 3rd party resources
- Capital Budget development for large projects
- Capital Budget entry and approval process tracking
- Cash Flow development and management for large projects
- Capital Budget modeling and analysis (Comps, Actual Vs Budget, etc…)
- Ad hoc and project specific data analyses (e.g. historical budgets comparison within a specific market)
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong knowledge of advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables and Reporting, Macros, Advanced conditional formatting, etc…)
- Strong communications, both written and verbal, in leading teams and coordinating with peers and other disciplines cross functionally to drive projects/issues to closure.
- Commitment to organizational excellence and constant awareness to seek opportunities to improve processes/quality of deliverables.
- Superb ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects/responsibilities
- Superb ability to meet committed timelines, leveraging assistance/input from peers
- Strong and effective team player in working with various disciplines and peer groups; can cover all gamut of tasks required to ‘getting a job done’
- Strong attention to detail
Experience/Education
- 2+ years of experience in Budget Analysis and/or Finance Accounting
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred (BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics a strong plus)
- Strong knowledge and experience in Budget modeling, analysis, cashflow modeling and management, pricing and sensitivity modeling and interpretation
- Strong experience in Excel to minimally build pivot tables and create simple/complex formulas
- Those who have worked in finance or procurement within the Data Center industry or financial institution are encouraged to apply
- General experience in the Data Center industry, Infrastructure, Technology, Construction or Real Estate environments are also encouraged to apply
