Easy Dynamics is seeking an on-site IT Operations Specialist to join our growing team, focusing on managing and optimizing our Microsoft 365 and Azure-based infrastructure. This role is vital for maintaining high availability and performance of our cloud systems, managing user devices and accounts, and responding to technical incidents reported in our IT Service Desk. The specialist will also be responsible for routine management, monitoring, and maintenance of our systems, ensuring that all processes and procedures are well-documented.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud system administration, particularly within Microsoft 365 and Azure environments. They should demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Responsibilities: 


  • Monitor, manage, and maintain Microsoft 365 and Azure-based infrastructure using platforms such as the Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Microsoft Intune Admin Center, Exchange Admin Center, SharePoint Admin Center, Teams Admin Center, Security & Compliance Center, Power Apps, Power Automate, Universal Print, Azure Portal, and Microsoft Entra ID to ensure high availability and performance
  • Manage and administer user devices and accounts within the Microsoft 365 environment
  • Respond to technical incidents and issues reported through the IT Service Desk, providing timely resolution and support
  • Develop and maintain accurate documentation of IT processes, procedures, and system configurations
  • Provide on-site support for software and hardware, ensuring seamless operation and troubleshooting any issues that arise
  • Maintain on-site equipment, including laptops, monitors, peripherals, and conference rooms, among others, ensuring all hardware and software are up to date and functioning optimally
  • Manage the asset inventory system, including tracking and documenting all IT assets
  • Prepare devices for new employees, ensuring they are fully set up and operational
  • Restore offboarded devices to a ready state for future use, ensuring inventory remains organized and clean
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and optimize IT operations in alignment with business goals
  • Identify and implement improvements in cloud infrastructure and operations to enhance efficiency and security
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to cloud and IT operations
  • Participate in SCRUM ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and sprint retrospectives, among others
  • Provide technical guidance and support to end-users and other IT team members as needed
  • Administer systems using PowerShell, Bash, or similar scripting languages

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in IT operations, system administration, or a related role
  • Strong proficiency in managing and administering Microsoft 365 and Azure-based infrastructure using platforms such as the Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Microsoft Intune Admin Center, Exchange Admin Center, SharePoint Admin Center, Teams Admin Center, Security & Compliance Center, Power Apps, Power Automate, Universal Print, Azure Portal, and Microsoft Entra ID, among others
  • Experience with managing user devices and accounts within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure management and security best practices
  • Strong familiarity with Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems
  • Knowledge of iOS and Android platforms; experience with MacOS and Linux is a plus
  • Proficiency in maintaining and troubleshooting both hardware and software
  • Experience in managing asset inventory systems, including tracking and documenting IT assets
  • Ability to set up and prepare devices for new employees and restore offboarded devices to a ready state
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate, or similar, are a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and using Git, with over 2 years of experience in administering systems using PowerShell, Bash, or similar scripting languages

Salary Range: $55,000 - $85,000
