We are looking for a dynamic leader to join our team as the Director of internal IT and Data Security. Reporting to our Head of Operations, this role is critical in driving our technology strategy, leading a nimble IT team, and ensuring our IT infrastructure supports the company's goals. This role is open to candidates in the DC Metro Area and will require the ability to work a few days a week from our Arlington, VA office.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the corporate IT function, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Respond to and manage client questionnaires as it relates to IT and data security procedures at Lovelytics.
- Oversee the development and implementation of the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective technology solutions
- Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring optimal use of resources and cost-efficiency
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of robust security protocols, ensuring alignment with relevant laws, regulations and various client security policies and industry standards for both the company and subcontractors
- Direct the help desk function to ensure timely resolution of technical issues for end users, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the IT team, fostering their professional growth and development
- Ensure the security, integrity, and availability of data and systems including VPN lifecycle and utilization management.
- Manage operations and security of internal and Enterprise and Client Hosting environments on-prem and in cloud including architecture, design, provisioning, administration, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities across multi-cloud and on-premises services, security, networking, storage/virtualization, systems, and NOC/Help Desk
- Manage IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology needs and provide appropriate solutions
- Develop and administer end user training for various topics including cybersecurity
- Stay abreast of the latest technology trends and advancements, and leverage this knowledge to drive the company's technology strategy
- Provision and manage Sandbox Environments and resources (Azure, AWS, GCP)
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in a Senior IT leadership role
- Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices
- Excellent project management skills
- Experience with Windows Server Operating Systems, Microsoft 365, OKTA or other SSO systems, Google for business and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Strong understanding of security measures and ransomware prevention strategies
- DirectConnect, vPC, VPN, WAF, Security Groups, Routing, VPC Gateways, Elastic IP, Route53, Load Balancing, Global Traffic Management);
- Experience selecting, implementing and managing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system(s)
- Good understanding of high-level network architecture
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or equivalent.
