Honeybee Robotics is seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician that is responsible for the production and testing of electrical assemblies, assembly of printed circuit board assemblies, harnesses, and polymeric processes. The technician will also be responsible for the upkeep, orderliness, and inventory of the electronics lab and related assembly areas.
Responsibilities:
- Soldering and PCBA assembly and rework
- General knowledge of electronics test equipment: Oscilloscope, DMM, Function Gen, etc.
- Fabrication of cable harnesses in compliance with NASA STD 8739.4
- Ownership and support of electronics test lab and equipment
- Board and system test and debug
- Electronics test support: EMI/EMC, Vibration, Thermal
- Test set development
- Support engineering team in various projects
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 4+ years working in an engineering field and/or electronic assembly environment
Hands-on experience with most of the following:- Electronics hardware assembly via IPC J STD-001
- Harness assembly per NASA STD 8739.4 or IPC-620
- Polymerics application per NASA STD 8739.1
- Quality systems, procedures, and processes
- Working with ESD-sensitive equipment and mitigation techniques
- Space flight hardware validation & verification experience a plus
