Role Specific Duties:


  • Lead major workstreams within large IT modernization programs.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and resource estimates.
  • Manage client relationships and expectations at the program level.
  • Develop and implement Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) strategies for specific project components.
  • Design and oversee the execution of strategic roadmaps, resource optimization plans, and benefits tracking systems within your workstream(s).
  • Provide SPM consultation to clients, presenting complex ideas to senior leadership.
  • Manage and mentor a team of Consultants, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Identify workstream-level risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Coach and develop more junior consultants.

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in technology consulting.
  • Strong knowledge of federal IT systems and modernization approaches.
  • Experience with program/project management tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) tools (e.g., ServiceNow SPM) and agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)) is highly desired.
  • Strong understanding of Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) concepts and proven ability to apply them in various contexts.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain required security clearances.
  • May require up to 10% travel.
  • Candidates must be a US Citizen or a Legal Permanent Resident (Green Card status) for 3 years and be Federal Tax compliant.
