Alliance Franchise Brands is seeking an
Associate Business Consultant (aka “RightStart Specialist”).  This person will work directly with new Franchise Members in the printing and signage industry during their first 3 years of business. Part of our RightStart Team, this position provides guidance and training to maximize the success of each new franchise location (new and resales) – and coordinates support across key areas, including marketing, sales and operations.Note: This position works a hybrid work schedule with at least 2 days each week in office

Essential functions


  • Franchise Member Support:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new Franchise Members within their first 36 months, offering guidance and support to help them meet and exceed their goals.
  • Assist Franchise Members in understanding and implementing the franchisor's operational standards and procedures to drive success.
  • Utilize project management software to coordinate tasks and activities, effectively communicating priorities to Franchise Members and ensuring accountability.
  • Conduct site visits, as necessary, to assess Franchise Member compliance, provide feedback, and address operational concerns.
  • Operations & Relationship Management:
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and recommend strategies for enhancing Franchise Member profitability.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and sales, to provide recommendations on business challenges and opportunities.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with Franchise Members, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate.
  • Act as a liaison between Franchise Members and the franchisor, ensuring effective communication and conflict resolution.
  • Territory Maintenance & Development:
  • Serve as the primary resource for territory requirements, developing territory parameters across multiple franchise concepts.
  • Develop franchise territories using territory tracking software and maintain an accurate record of franchisor’s territory obligations.
  • Evaluate market potential, demographics, competition, and other factors to assess the viability of new territories.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices related to franchise operations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer experience across the franchise system.
  • Other
  • Serve as backup in new center opening process including pre-ordering product / equipment, managing incoming deliveries, and ensuring center is ready for opening day.

Travel required 10%


  • Travel to Franchise Members locations to assist in onboarding
  • Minimal travel to in-person and Franchise Member events

Required education and experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, finance or related field
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint and Excel

Preferred education and experience


  • Experience in the printing and signage industry preferred
  • Franchising or multi-unit B2B experience a plus
  • MIS and project management experience preferred
  • Territory development experience preferred
