Core One is seeking a Battle Staff Sensitive Activities Lead Exercise Planner to support the program. This position requires an active Secret clearance with TS/SCI clearance verifiable in DISS. This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all duties, responsibilities, and actions necessary to support SA certification activities.
- Serve as the primary SA exercise lead planner and script writer, developing, managing and evolving a challenging and realistic exercise scenario and its conditions that incorporates red cell/white cell, checklists, master scenario event list (MSELs), injects, with timelines that allows personnel involved at every level an opportunity to demonstrate a clear understanding and all associated applicable skills IAW specified, essential, enhancing and implied tasks to meet commanders goals/objectives.
- Act as the primary interface with the G-7 EB, coordinating and integrating all elements of the SA scenario with the greater MARSOC scenario.
- Develop scenario-based training suited to evaluate the effective integration of multiple simultaneously executed intelligence operations which employ all aspects of the ASE’s capability.
- Develop scenario-based training based on current real-world operations suited to evaluate the integration of logistics, communications, and intelligence operations within a SOF environment.
- Develop and synchronize all required briefs and reports for exercise execution.
- Support the BST exercise Find, Fix, Finish, Exploit, Analyze, Disseminate (F3EAD) process and the implementation of Operations and Intelligence Fusion.
- Support the implementation of exercise storylines and vignettes and all exercise master storyline events providing dynamic, on-call scripting during the exercise to ensure all training goals are met.
- Develop a seamless training scenario with an operational theme that achieves all unit goals and objectives as defined.
- Ensure scenario and all supporting documents are per applicable documents and best practices; supported by proposed training objectives, unit requested conditions, available resources, operational and sub-variables PMESII-PT, Joint/Conventional/SOF Doctrine, BST T&R Manual, unit METLs, and SOPs.
- Provide a challenging and realistic exercise scenario and its conditions that incorporates red cell/white cell, checklists, master scenario event list (MSELs), injects, with timelines that allows personnel involved at every level an opportunity to demonstrate a clear understanding and all associated applicable skills per specified, essential, enhancing and implied tasks to meet commanders’ goals/objectives.
Requirements:
- Former Staff Non-Commissioned Officer (SNCO) (E-8 or above), Warrant Officer or Commissioned Officer.
- Must have experience planning, scripting, managing and executing the certification exercises.
- Must have a clear understanding of the MARSOC organization, structure, and mission in order to plan SA certification exercises across all aspects of the SA’s mission and capabilities.
- Ability to act as the primary SA exercise lead planner and script writer.
- Must possess a thorough understanding of fundamental sensitive activities and operations.
- Possess a thorough understanding of the Find, Fix, Finish, Exploit, Analyze, Disseminate (F3EAD) process and the implementation of Operations and Intelligence Fusion.
- Prefer experience in both Declared Theaters of Active Armed Conflict (DTAAC) and Outside Declared Theaters of Active Armed Conflict (ODTAAC).
- B.S. or B.A. degree in Military/Political Science, International Studies/Policy, operations research, computer science, engineering or equivalent related military experience.
- Must have experience with exercise planning, scenario development, and scenario design.
- Supports the implementation of exercise storylines and vignettes and all exercise master storyline events providing dynamic, on-call scripting during the exercise to ensure all training goals are met.
- TS//SCI clearance verified in DISS and must be cleared per Marine Corps policy for validating and clearing personnel.
- Posses and maintain a valid U.S. driver’s license.
