Our expertise lies in accelerating delivery in Data and Analytics, Intelligent Automation, Application Development, and IT Modernization. We are currently expanding our federal team and are looking for a Strategic Communications Specialist. This opportunity is 100% remote.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a government suitability clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Communication Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans aligned with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
- Messaging Development: Create, develop, and implement a variety of communications materials, including senior leader briefings, talking points, presentations, news and information articles, marketing and branding content, and events such as town halls, brown bags, and information sessions.
- Media Relations: Manage media inquiries, build strong relationships with journalists, and secure positive media coverage.
- Internal Communications: Develop and execute effective internal communication strategies to keep employees informed, engaged, and aligned with the organization’s vision.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, investors, regulators, and industry partners.
- Crisis Communication: Develop and implement crisis communication plans and protocols to effectively manage potential reputational risks.
- Content Creation: Create high-quality content, including press releases, articles, blog posts, presentations, and social media posts.
- Digital Communications: Manage the organization’s digital presence, including website, social media channels, and other digital platforms.
- Visual Coordination: Coordinate with graphic artists and web designers to provide visually appealing products that are consistent with client branding.
- Marketing Support: Develop, update, and maintain marketing materials for organizational strategic initiatives.
- Policy Analysis: Analyze and help develop and/or improve policies and procedures for various programs and operational needs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with teams, senior leadership, and customers to aid in the development and implementation of various communications approaches, methodologies, and frameworks.
- Complex Concept Articulation: Articulate complex concepts in a compelling manner using written, visual, and verbal methods.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- 5+ years’ experience creating marketing, training, and/or communications materials for government agencies.
- Proficiency with the MS-Office suite and graphic design tools like Adobe Illustrator, MS Publisher, or InDesign.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive, reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.
