CleanChoice Energy, a national renewable energy provider and developer that empowers people to change the world with how they power their lives, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team. This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing company with a mission to make clean energy feel easy and rewarding, by growing the movement for clean energy and building clean power plants.

Responsibilities


  • Manage weekly cash flow forecasts, helping the business understand its liquidity position and accurately anticipate financing needs.
  • Maintain and improve monthly financial reporting packages and supporting analyses. Materials are shared with the company’s executive team and Board of Directors. 
  • Support annual budgeting process and quarterly re-forecasting exercises.
  • Support, maintain, and improve the corporate valuation model, including assisting with scenario modeling.
  • Support the firm’s asset management department. Assisting with the development of financial and operational reports detailing the performance of the firm’s generating assets. Serve as a point of contact for the firm’s stakeholders, including tax equity partners, lenders, landowners, and service providers.
  • Ad hoc financial modeling, analytical support, and other tasks as required.

Qualifications and Skills


  • A BA or BS in finance, accounting, economics, or another similarly quantitatively oriented discipline.
  • Two to five years of relevant work experience.
  • A proven track record of financial modeling skills, including the development of three statement financial models, using Excel and similar tools. Prior experience working with accounting software packages, like Sage Intacct, Netsuite, Workday, or Microsoft Dynamics, is a plus.
  • Strengths in accounting and finance. Strong ability to translate ideas into numbers and numbers into narrative.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A background in solar, renewable energy, energy, or real estate is preferred. 

Travel


CleanChoice Energy is a remote-first work environment with occasional DC office hours, and travel to team meetings and CleanChoice events.

Compensation


This position offers compensation commensurate with experience and skills, an incentive plan, and a robust benefits package. 


Base Salary Range: $125,000-$135,000 USD annual.
