About the Role
As Vice President, Network Strategy & Operations at Wheel, you will be responsible for 3 main areas of Wheel’s Network Operations team: Provider Operations, Healthcare Services and Marketplace Operations. The VP, Network Strategy & Operations will drive the strategy for the provider lifecycle from recruitment to onboarding to productivity, as well as the strategy for marketplace supply and demand capacity forecasting and fulfillment.
What You’ll Do
Drive strategy for marketplace coverage and capacity planning and forecasting across Network Operations team and evolve the the model to drive network scale as the business grows
Responsible for consult pricing, clinician pay and achievement of company targets for take rate on consult revenue with Finance approval.
Closely monitor marketplace health and KPIs with Marketplace Operations team, provide path to escalation for issue resolution, and collaborate with Account Management on any required client communications
Oversee provider recruitment, onboarding and credentialing working closely with the Provider Operations and Healthcare Services teams with a focus on ensuring efficient and compliant supply recruitment, credentialing and onboarding
Collaborate cross-functionally across Sales, Solutions, Account Management, Clinical Strategy & Operations, Finance and R&D to understand enterprise client needs and the business impact of new programs to evaluate the impact to supply and demand forecasting
Drive annual and quarterly planning for Network Operations to define new strategies and iterate as market demands in order to ensure attainment of SLA performance within financial budget / goals
Partner with R&D to define and scope product-driven optimization for Wheel’s operations
Collaborate closely with Clinical Strategy & Operations team to monitor the provider lifecycle and utilization and identify areas for improvement
Lead any ad hoc analyses as may be needed
Who You Are
10+ years of Operations experience, preferably managing capacity for an online healthcare marketplace or urgent care platform
Lead and collaborate cross-functionally with an Ownership mindset and accountability for outcomes
Analytical problem-solver who drives data-driven decisions
Experienced team leader with a minimum of 5-10 yrs of managerial experience
Expert at optimizing complex operations and intellectually curious about applying AI to drive efficiencies
Demonstrated expertise in data and modeling including SQL and Excel and experience in workforce planning and demand / capacity modeling
Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to drive cross-functional alignment and effectively communicate with senior and executive leadership
