About the role:
As the Senior Web & Graphic Designer of Hashgraph, you will be responsible for producing digital and print collateral for a rapidly evolving company in an exciting industry. You will be a collaborator and a team player, working on the Brand/Creative team in the Marketing department and liaising with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. You will be compensated in USD ($100,000 - $150,000), as well as cryptocurrency (HBAR), company equity, performance bonuses, and 401(k), and you will receive health benefits, vacation and parental leave, education assistance, and manager training.
You may find yourself doing all of the following:
- Managing the design and development of a cohesive brand strategy for Hedera
- Being hands-on in executing high-quality design work in close partnership with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Events, and Developer Relations peers and helping bring product launches and campaigns to life with high-quality work
- Being a player / managing the team to lead efforts to design for web pages, asset templates, product launches, event booths, web assets, and more, along with bringing growth campaigns to life in the forms of digital and offline experiences
- Creating, maintaining, and updating coherent, technical visual systems, diagrams, infographics, and custom visualizations
- Being able to demonstrate strong strategic thinking, design direction, and attention to detail
- Successfully communicating and presenting conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale (both verbally and visually) with various stakeholders and executive leadership
- Being able to think (and execute) at a high level about creative strategy and vision - not just “how it should look” but “what should we build?”
Qualification Requirements:
- 7+ years experience designing for an agency or in-house design team, with a preferable focus on visual storytelling around technical products
- Strong visual design portfolio demonstrating a range of work across different mediums; emphasis on design work that demonstrates successful product launches and campaign work
- Experience with Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Keynote, and PowerPoint designing across all mediums: web, mobile, email, whitepaper, and presentation, along with offline: print, tradeshows, events, and merchandise
- Knowledge of web design, motion graphics, animation, and video production
- Attention to detail and care about “pixel perfection”
- A knack for translating creative strategy into beautiful and strategically sound designs
