You will have the opportunity to support elementary school students.
This role entails working alongside another full-time social worker to divide the caseload between special education and general education, ensuring a well-balanced workload.

Your Role:
- Conduct Assessments: Evaluate students' needs through formal assessments and develop appropriate action plans.
- Advocate for Students: Act as a liaison between the student, school, and community resources to ensure students’ rights and needs are met.
- Promote a Positive School Climate: Foster an inclusive and supportive school environment that promotes the well-being of all students.
- Collaborate with Teachers and Staff: Work with educators and school personnel to identify and support at-risk students.
- Maintain Confidential Records: Keep detailed and confidential records of student interactions, progress, and interventions.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Master’s (MSW) or Doctoral degree in Social Work
- IL PEL with an endorsement in Social Work
- Previous experience in a K-12 setting preferred
