Job Description:


We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a partner school that takes pride in their diversity and provides education for students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. We are seeking a hardworking individual to join our speech therapy team on a full-time basis for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for developing treatment plans, completing evaluations, and collaborating with parents and other key stakeholders for a caseload K-5th graders.Additional responsibilities will include;

  • Provide year-round services for students including direct, small group sessions, and push in utilizing evidence-based practices to enhance communication skills
  • Compile and develop treatment plans to support students for caseload of 35 to 50
  • Develop and implement IEPs for students with ASD, incorporating specific, measurable goals tailored to each student
  • Regularly monitor and document students progress towards IEP goals and adjust therapy plans as necessary
  • Provide training on functional life skills for students approaching graduation
  • Implement augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices and strategies, including communication boards, speech-generating devices, and sign language, as appropriate
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress reports. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and school district regulations, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
  • Collaborate with department by being a part of team meetings with service providers, Special Education teachers, and BCBAs

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Requirements:


  • School-based and/or pediatric experience working with K-5th Graders
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid PA SLP license from the Pennsylvania Board of Speech-Language Pathologists
  • Valid PA Education Specialist Certificate from the Pennsylvania Department of Education
