Threekit is seeking a hands-on LLM Expert (6 month contract) who will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of our AI initiatives and driving the development of advanced AI-powered solutions. You will partner with product owners and software engineers to design, implement, scale, and optimize AI-powered solutions that will drive the next phase of growth for Threekit. - Advise on the design and implementation of AI-driven features and solutions across our product suite.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product management, domain specialists, and engineering to define AI specifications for both pilot and scalable solutions.
- Identify, build and deploy robust, scalable, and efficient AI models to solve complex problems.
- Advise, design, and build end-to-end ML pipelines that integrate data preparation, feature engineering, model training, testing, and deployment using MLOps frameworks and cloud-native technologies
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in AI, LLM, and machine learning technologies, and proactively identify opportunities to apply them to our products and services.
- Drive best practices in software engineering, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
What Catches Our Eye
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on the design and development of AI-powered applications.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Typescript, and Javascript; experience with AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Demonstrable understanding of commercial and open source solutions for LLM and ML uses; experience with OpenAI API, PGVector
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of AI and machine learning concepts
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills
- Proven track record of designing and implementing AI algorithms and models in production environments, serving thousands of users
- Experience in deploying and maintaining AI-powered applications in a production environment, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment is a plus
- Demonstrable experience with matching and recommendation engines
- Experience configuring e-Commerce, B2B Portal, or Sales Applications
