Job Description
We are seeking meticulous and driven individuals to join our Global Procurement Technology Sourcing team as a Sourcing Manager. In this role, you will use your category experience, technical aptitude, and data analysis skills to drive negotiations, bring efficiencies, meet regulatory and audit requirements, and create insightful reporting. you will leverage your analytical skills and business acumen to gather and analyze data, identify areas for improvement, collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop actionable insights and recommendations to optimize our procurement processes and drive cost savings.
The ideal candidate will have excellent category management skills in Technology, Software, and Hardware in addition to analytical skills, and the ability to develop presentations to communicate complex data effectively to stakeholders at all levels.You will:
Collaborate to conduct RFx, lead contract negotiation with suppliers; develop negotiation approaches, fallback positions and acceptable terms and conditions through contract completion and identify important benchmarks to measure contractual arrangements
Collaborate cross functionally with Legal, InfoSec, Privacy, Finance, IT, Compliance, etc. to help ensure new and existing vendors adhere to relevant requirements in these areas
Review existing contracts and understand requirements; form guidelines and design standard vendor contract protocols
Assist to establish vendor life-cycle strategy to oversee planning, sourcing and selection of new vendors, manage data for vendor performance and manage vendor off-boarding and transition
Support development financial analytics to support commercial term negotiations with performance dashboards and ROI-based evaluation tools
Identify and realization of cost-saving and cost-reduction opportunities and build a culture of long-term savings on procurement costs without compromising supply assurance or quality
Develop and present comprehensive business cases and impact assessments to support decision-making.
Analyze procurement processes, systems, and data to identify opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications
You have:
Minimum 5 years of procurement/strategic sourcing experience, preferably in a high-growth technology environment
Solid experience leading software negotiations (SaaS), Hardware negotiations, and contract management - this is a must have
Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, such as SQL, Excel, Google Sheet, and data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
An ability to influence others, including senior leadership. Strong communication and organizational skills, both written and verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills
Excels in a rapid change of pace, complexity, and preferably within a fast-paced technology or financial services environment
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Monitor project progress and performance against established goals.
Ensure deadlines are met by coordinating with stakeholders and managing project timelines effectively.

Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
Zone A: USD $111,700 - USD $167,500
Zone B: USD $103,800 - USD $155,800
Zone C: USD $98,200 - USD $147,400
