Magazine. Position SummaryForcura is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to join its growing team. As a BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Power BI. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into meaningful reports and dashboards. Additionally, you will assist in ETL processes using SSIS to ensure data is accurately and efficiently extracted, transformed, and loaded into our data warehouse.Job Duties
- Design and develop interactive and visually appealing Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Collaborate with product stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver insights that drive decision-making.
- Optimize Power BI data models for performance and usability.
- Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Assist in ensuring ETL processes are optimized for performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration and transformation.
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can be used to improve business processes.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to BI solutions and ETL processes.
- Work closely with data analysts, data engineers, and other team members to deliver comprehensive BI solutions.
- Provide support to internal end-users for Power BI dashboards and reports.
- All other job related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or another similar STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) discipline or equivalent work experience preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in business intelligence development, with a focus on Power BI and SQL Server.
- Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.
- Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and ETL processes.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
- Ability to work with large datasets and transform them into actionable insights.
- Experience with source control – Git/GitHub
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working in a SaaS company and/or healthcare
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and tools is a plus.
- Experience with cloud environments such as AWS and Azure is a plus.
Work Environment
- This role reports into Forcura’s Jacksonville, FL, offices.
