Field Service Technician
Futura Mobility delivers a range of mobile and fixed hardware solutions tailored to the healthcare industry's unique needs. Our offerings include mobile workstations, wall arms, barcode scanners, RFID solutions, tablets, PCs, iPads, monitors, printers, rugged devices, and communication devices. We are currently seeking a Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of mobility equipment, ensuring the highest level of service and customer satisfaction.
This position requires travel to various client locations, providing hands-on support and expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of mobile and fixed hardware such as Wall Arms and WOWs (Workstation on Wheels). - Conduct on-site assessments to diagnose issues and recommend appropriate solutions.- Maintain accurate records of service activities, including work performed and parts used.Requirements
- High school diploma/GED equivalent, technical degree, or certification preferred
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, diagnose, repair, and technical service equipment
- Previous experience working in a hospital/healthcare setting is preferred
- Great mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift to 55 pounds
- Ability to stand on your feet up to 8 hours a day
- Great communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Must live within a daily commuting distance (15 - 20 miles) of customer locations
- Hours - Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
- Valid PA Driver's License and reliable (own) method of Transportation
- Current IRS standard mileage rates will apply
