Summary/Objective
To assist the finance team in providing accurate financial information to management, the Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for owning the company A/R process across all channels, including e-commerce, marketplace, wholesale, and retail.
Job Duties
- Organize and monitor A/R inbox.
- Manage existing customer aging and maintain balances to a reasonable level.
- Issue customer invoices and credit notes and process customer payments promptly and accurately.
- Perform routine customer collection inquiries.
- Reconcile customer and payment processor subledgers against financials each month.
- Present status of customer aging before the sales and management team on a routine basis.
- Organize and control A/R shared drive folders in Microsoft SharePoint.
- Process timely and professional communications both internally and externally.
Requirements
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance related field preferred
- 3-5 years of A/R management experience
Preferred Skills
- Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Big data management
- Able to appropriately prioritize tasks each day
- High volume transactional management
- Organizational skills a must
- Able to communicate effectively both internally and externally

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printer/copiers. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. A hybrid work model is available after a 60-day probationary period.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 40 hours per week.
Travel
Travel is not expected for this position.
