The VP of Demand Generation at Sauce will own the development and execution of comprehensive demand generation strategies. You will lead efforts to generate qualified leads, optimize the sales funnel, and work closely with sales and marketing teams to support revenue growth. This role is hands-on and well-suited for someone who thrives in a startup environment and is excited about scaling marketing operations from the ground up.This person will report directly to the CEO here at Sauce.**If based in NY or Israel, this will be a hybrid/in-office role**
What You'll Do:
- Demand Generation Ownership: Develop, execute, and lead a comprehensive demand generation strategy to drive qualified leads and support revenue targets. Own top of funnel pipeline - from or organic and paid acquisition to offline marketing, SDRs, conversion optimizations, and more.
- Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive demand generation strategy that aligns with Sauce’s growth goals, driving user acquisition, pipeline, and revenue growth.
- Campaign Execution: Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel demand generation campaigns, including digital, email, ABM (Account-Based Marketing), and events, ensuring that messaging resonates with target accounts and key personas.
- Lead Nurturing: Build and implement lead nurturing programs to effectively move prospects through the sales funnel in collaboration with sales, using automated workflows where appropriate.
- Performance Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of demand generation campaigns, with a focus on key metrics like lead quality, conversion rates, and ROI.
- Collaboration with Sales: Work closely with sales leadership to ensure lead quality, optimize handoff processes, and implement feedback loops to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Marketing Technology: Manage and optimize the marketing tech stack, including CRM and marketing automation tools like HubSpot, ensuring accurate tracking and performance measurement.
- Budget Management: Oversee the demand generation budget, prioritizing high-impact initiatives and ensuring efficient resource allocation to maximize results.
- Team Leadership & Development: As Sauce grows, hire, mentor, and lead a high-performing demand generation team, creating a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
What You Bring:
- Experience: 7-10 years of demand generation or growth marketing experience, preferably in B2B SaaS or tech startups, with a proven track record of executing successful campaigns that drive revenue.
- Hands-On Expertise: Demonstrated ability to lead demand generation initiatives and optimize campaigns across digital channels, with experience in marketing automation platforms and CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
- Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis skills, with experience measuring and optimizing campaign performance using data-driven insights.
- Startup Agility: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, rising-star startup environment where resources are lean, and decisions must be made quickly.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools.
- Leadership: Experience leading and mentoring a small team or being a "player-coach" who can both strategize and execute.
- Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of working effectively with sales teams and cross-functional partners.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in the restaurant or SMB sector is a significant plus.
