DSFederal,Inc is seeking a quali?ed Financial Analyst- IT to support a defense logistics information technology program.

This program is responsible for sustaining and modernizing a family of logistics and supply chain management systems and applications. This position requires a motivated team player with a detail driven personality that works well supporting a diverse staff across multiple functional areas and locations. This position will work with both government and contractor staff. Individuals must be able to collaborate, present, and disseminate technical and non-technical information to peers, customers, and external agencies as required.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Provide Status of Funds (SOF) reports to the financial management (FM) team daily.
- Identify and report issues that need resolution in any of the financial data systems to the FM team and take appropriate action to resolve identified issues in coordination with the FM team.
- Prepare funding documents as directed by the FM team.
- Track and update funding document data in financial data systems, including Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI), CERBERUS Spend Plan tool, and SharePoint.
- Retrieve unliquidated reports, analyze the data output, and take action to recoup unliquidated funds as needed.
- Research Financial records and input data in support of the Dormant Account Review - Quarterly (DAR-Q).
- Utilize FInancial data systems to input monthly variance explanations, re-phase obligations and expenditures, and submit for ?nancial manager's approval in CERBERUS.
- Draft and submit responses to financial action items and taskers.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly spend plan execution briefs and execution reports.
- Provide other Financial tracking, monitoring and management reports as required.
Requirements
Experience Required
- At least six (6) years of experience in financial management, budget or business analysis and included in the six (6) years, there must be two (2) years of experience in financial management supporting automated information systems (AIS), especially Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI).
- Must have demonstrated experience in the planning, programming, budgeting, execution system (PPBE). Demonstrated knowledge of SECNAV, OPNAV and OSD policy and documentation related to the Financial Management Regulation (FMR), life-cycle management of military AIS acquisition programs (speci?cally DoD 5000.75 and 5000.87).
- Must have experience processing program acquisition, funding and contract documentation for AIS military programs.
- Experience with CEREBERUS tool is preferred.

- Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook
Preferred Skill
Education Required
- BS or BA degree in a Business, Management, Finance, or relevant discipline from an accredited college.
- An AS or AA degree from an accredited college and an additional four (4) years of experience; or an additional six (6) years of experience may be substituted for a BS or BA degree.
