Role Overview
Head of People & Talent is a passionate and hands-on professional who leads our talent acquisition and people operations functions, embodies & enhances organizational culture, as well as implements programs, processes and policies that support our fast-growing professional services company.This position also manages Total Reward vendor affiliations and best practices, Learning and Development team, human resources operations & compliance, and Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion initiatives. The Head of People & Talent is part of Attivo’s senior management team and manages the experience of Attivo’s most important asset: our people.While this is a remote, work from home position, strong preference will be given to candidates located in the US Pacific and Mountain time zones.
Some evening calls are required with overseas staff. Travel to in-person company events is required, approximately 2-3 weeks during the year.
Responsibilities
● Lead and manage all aspects of employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, and learning and development● Build, and hire, a People & Talent team to support consistent organizational growth and ongoing initiatives. ● Manage talent acquisition/recruiting team, including employer branding, sourcing and implementation of best practices.● Review and approve payroll for accuracy – delegated over the long-term.● Maintain a competitive total rewards program that will allow us to build and retain a best-in-class team at all levels of the organization.○ Lead Sequoia benefit management and guidance services to offer competitive benefit packages.● Manage and maintain company compliance and policies such as: PTO, benefits, holidays, travel and other policies● Integrate key strategic programs to drive employee engagement and Attivo culture● Own and drive the performance management process ● Oversee and implement HR operations systems and compliance programs to ensure policies and procedures effectively scale with the Company● Act as a genuine culture champion, working with an open-door policy to support all employee relation questions and concerns.● Ensure the Company has fruitful in person gatherings several times per year that build trust and belonging● Survey employee engagement, surface trends and guide action by managers and/or leadership team● Analyze and report on key HR metrics to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.● Lead strategic projects related to HR transformation, organizational development, and/or change management initiatives.
Requirements
● 10+ years in people ops / human resources● 5+ years of management and/or leadership experience● 2+ years of working with start-ups, preferred● 3+ years of working with an organization exceeding 100+ employees, preferred● 4+ years of experience overseeing and leading the talent acquisition function● PHR or SPHR certification● Experience with Rippling HRIS, preferred, but not required● Knowledge of federal and state regulations concerning employment and reporting compliance● Proven experience in scaling HR functions in a high-growth environment.● History of success working with a nationally distributed workforce.
International experience, a plus.● Strong history of managing multiple tasks and ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities● Passion for training and development, employee development, and performance management● Ability to thrive in growing, fast-paced, results-oriented environments● Record of leading and driving strategies● Ability to handle confidential information with tact and respect● Ability to influence and advise leaders through challenging people situations● Exceptional verbal and written communication skills● Results-oriented with a passion for developing people and culture.● Has a proactive, solution-oriented, problem-solving mindset● Resourceful with some scrappiness● Enthusiastic, personable, positive attitude, and high integrity● Persistent and self-motivated with the ability to work with limited supervision● Passionate about building relationships and investing in people + people development● Mission-driven with passion for DEI strategies, its importance, and its impact
SALARY INFORMATION:
Salary range for this role is $185,000 - $205,000 per year, depending on experience, plus bonus.
