We’re seeking an Account Director to join our growing team at Context Creative. Context Creative is part of Mod Op, a full-service advertising agency with offices in 11 US locations as well as Panama City, Panama, and Toronto, Canada. Trusted by clients providing vital public services, we make meaningful connections to solve complex communications and design challenges that affect real people and drive positive change. The Role


North Star: To build long-term, profitable and collaborative relationships with clients to ensure they trust Context as business advisors that can drive their businesses forward with our progressive creative work.We are looking for someone who can independently run initiatives, and support in business planning. This person will take a leadership role on the day-to-day management of the client’s business, looking beyond their marketing needs as a proactive partner in reaching their objectives. The Account Director works closely with creative, strategy and production to champion big ideas and make them a reality.The ideal candidate is a polished communicator, is curious, and eager to learn, unintimidated by challenges, rolls with the punches, works quickly and effectively, and collaborates easily.This is a hybrid position that offers in-office team collaboration days and at-home work flexibility.

Job Responsibilities


  • Be the lead client partner providing strategic advice and managing the day-to-day business of some of our most trusted client accounts, providing exceptional and attentive client service
  • Develop strong relationships with clients across various disciplines and business areas throughout the organization, as well as agency counterparts on the creative, strategy and production teams
  • Serve as an advocate and coach to a team of account and project managers, to help the day-to-day business run smoothly
  • Work with internal team to devise integrated and digital-first marketing campaigns that meets the client’s brief and budget
  • Manage program budget, operational cost management, and support business development initiatives to maximize impact and achieve desired outcomes
  • Weekly status updates on project results, client program reviews mid/end program
  • Analyze business results and report on key insights, and develop action plans to address opportunities
  • Manage client expectations and help to make all plans achievable
  • Proactively identify, recommend and implement business-building ideas regularly
  • Lead in the administration, delivery and maintenance of required client documentation including contacts (service agreements), project scopes, client budgets, payment schedules, invoicing, change-orders, forecasts, reports
  • In collaboration with our Digital Marketing team, lead the development, deployment and reporting of digital marketing campaigns, including: Google AdWords, SEO, email marketing and list management, and social media campaigns

Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required
  • 7+ years agency experience preferred, ideally incl. both B2B and B2C clients
  • Experience working with high touch clients in a highly matrixed organization
  • Experience working on a fast-paced business in a highly competitive and evolving industry
  • Experience in executing broadcast mediums preferred
  • Successful and resourceful client manager with an ability to build relationships and business effectively
  • Experience guiding integrated multi-disciplinary teams to meet client goals – successful with time management and clear delegation
  • Organized with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time efficiently between accounts and projects

Additional Desired Skills


  • Experienced with digital marketing, email marketing, Google Analytics and a knowledge of accessibility best practices
