The
Quality Control Lead ensures quality compliance with ISO9001 and AS9100 standards through audits, root cause analysis, and process improvement initiatives. The position involves developing and maintaining process maps, analyzing data for trends, and driving corrective actions to completion. The successful candidate will conduct customer audits, evaluate internal training programs, and travel to company locations to support compliance and continuous improvement efforts. Strong attention to detail, experience with AS9100 standards, and the ability to present findings to executives are essential for this role.
This is a full-time, remote position- US-based.
The work hours are
Monday - Friday, 8:30a -5:30p Eastern time.

Job Responsibilities Include:
- Performing internal QC audits against ISO9001 and AS9100 Standards to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Evaluating ISO and AS standards and maintaining compliance.
- Identifying, reviewing, documenting, analyzing, and resolving QC challenges through root cause analysis tools and methodologies.
- Writing and managing corrective action plans.
- Assisting with creating, implementing, documenting, and improving internal processes and procedures.
- Overseeing process improvement initiatives.
- Analyzing reports/data for trends, areas of improvement, and challenges.
- Developing and maintaining process maps and supporting documentation.
- Participating in customer audits and evaluations to ensure external compliance and address client concerns.
- Reviewing internal training programs for compliance.
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in quality control, compliance, or process improvement.
- AS9100 Internal Auditor Certification and demonstrated experience with AS9100 and/or ISO9001 standards.
- Ability to write corrective actions and manage them to completion.
- Experience analyzing data and processes for inefficiencies and improvements.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to present to executives as needed.
- Knowledge of Visio, Excel, Word.
- Travel required multiple times a quarter to company locations.
