RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform Residential or Commercial property inspections according to the provided guidelines
- Follow inspection procedures for onsite inspection of the systems and components of existing homes
- Walk the exterior and interior of the homes
- Access and inspect unfinished spaces
- Evaluate the home deficiencies including, but not limited to: site issues, building materials and the conditions, health and human safety items, physical and structural conditions
- Complete Inspection Checklist and requisition reporting
- Address the concerns of the client
- Provide detailed descriptions
Requirements
- Minimum of US Citizenship required to obtain client’s site access clearance
- 4-6 years of working in or around the residential or commercial construction field
- Experience in building inspection and code compliance
- A license in architecture or engineering
- Good standing license in General Contracting in the registered state(s)
- International Code Council Certification (preferred)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Excellent time and task management skills
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable
- Must be able to travel
- Valid Driver’s License
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION
Bachelor’s in Architecture or in a related field (NAAB and/or CACB accredited)Home Inspection License or CertificationInterNachi Certification
