Full-timeDescriptionLaser Technician Full Time (On-site)M-F, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, weekends as needed IMAGESFX is changing the landscape of what it means to use special effects in the live event industry. From concert touring to nightclubs and lounges, to large-scale settings. We are constantly pushing the boundaries of design and custom fabrication to reimagining how technology can be used, the impossible is being made possible. Over the past year the IMAGESFX team has worked with Paul McCartney, Lady Gaga, Kiss, and Trans Siberian Orchestra, just to name a few.
Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare, operate, and de prep laser systems.
- Programming laser shows using Beyond Software or equivalent
- Intermediate programming skills with GrandMa Consoles
- Follow detailed verbal and/or written instructions, as well as diagrams, blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents to diagnose and repair laser equipment
- Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform rework as needed
- Complete preventative maintenance as needed
- Work in a warehouse environment when not on a show site.

- 3 years' experience in Live Event or Touring atmosphere.
- 2 years’ programming experience
- Strong background in AV and Lighting theory and concepts
- LSO Operator or be able to obtain an LSO
- Knowledge of power, data, and networks
- Ability to lift at least 50lbs
- Willing to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods
- Able to travel for weeks or months at a time.
- Must have a valid driver's license and US Passport
- Knowledge of SFX equipment (flames, pyro, sparks, confetti) is a plus
