This role will be integral in leading projects, maintaining the operations roadmap, and ensuring that all initiatives are completed on time and in alignment with strategic goals. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a strong background in project planning, and a proactive approach to getting things done. This position will work closely with the Operations Leadership Team to drive projects that support our company’s growth and operational excellence.This position is part of the operations team at District Photo and is an
in-person / hybrid role.
Candidates must be able to work on site in one of the three manufacturing facilities in the US (Beltsville, MD, Louisville, KY, or Phoenix, AZ).

Project Management
- Maintain and update the operations roadmap, ensuring alignment with team goals, and manage critical projects to ensure timely and successful completion.
- Develop and oversee comprehensive project plans, including tasks, resources, schedules, and accountability to ensure deadlines are met.
- Delegate tasks effectively and maintain open communication channels with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ensure that quality and safety standards are adhered to, mitigating potential risks where possible.
- Proactively address project challenges, manage issue escalations, and provide support to teams navigating competing priorities.
- Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Provide regular project status updates to the Operations Leadership Team, highlighting any changes or issues that may impact outcomes.
- Ensure that project execution does not compromise customer delivery, employee safety or product quality.
Collaboration
- Foster strong working relationships with teams across Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Technology, Engineering, and Client Engagement.
- Lead initiatives to enhance project management processes, tools, and templates to improve overall efficiency.
- Partner with the Continuous Improvement Leader to drive and implement improvement projects within Manufacturing.
- Collaborate with the New Product Introduction (NPI) team to develop project plans that ensure seamless integration into Manufacturing.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Proven experience in project management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Effective communication and leadership capabilities.
- Proficient in delegating tasks and driving accountability among stakeholders.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with a diverse range of stakeholders, including senior managers, subject matter experts, and operational staff.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Project, Visio, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP Certification.
- Proficiency with Monday.com.
- Demonstrated experience in project management within a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of printing technologies, the Print on Demand industry, or related manufacturing sectors.
Working Conditions
- Involves some walking, bending, and standing.
- May involve prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
