About the Role
ClimateAI is hiring a part-time writer to join our team. This person will write content & articles to build our product marketing portfolio; write blog posts and op-eds, and work closely with our PR team. The right person for this role has experience writing on climate and/or technical subject matters, and is able produce writing samples with their application.
Desired Skills:
- Proven ability to understand deeply technical topics (AI, Machine Learning, Climate Science) and translate to compelling content
- Established journalist with a portfolio of published articles.
- Ability to ask the right questions, efficiently meet with team members to obtain the right information to write content.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely across our team to understand our team to understand our product, customers and use cases to create compelling product marketing content
- Create content in form of articles, blogs, op-eds or papers based on around topics that ClimateAi is addressing; food security, climate resilience, climate change, etc
- Work closely with our PR partners to develop well-researched pitches.
- Convert the technical information they’ve acquired into readable, easy-to-understand content tailored to the specific audience.
- Open to feedback and making revisions as necessary.
