If you have a passion for the beverage alcohol industry, a proven track record in on-premise or off-premise field sales, and would love to play a role in helping spirit brands succeed, this role could be perfect for you. What You’re Selling:Overproof is the leading AI-driven business intelligence and strategic planning platform for the beverage alcohol industry. The role involves selling Overproof and Tastings, our data-driven tools that help enhance market presence and optimize marketing and sales strategies for clients in the alcohol sector, including spirits, beer, wine and RTDs.

 Your Target Market:Small- and medium-sized beverage alcohol brands with distribution in the United States.Responsibilities:Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients in the beverage alcohol industry through various channels. Generate leads and build a pipeline through outbound calls, email and social media outreach. Sales Presentations and Demos: Conduct engaging and informative product demos that showcase Overproof’s capabilities to potential customers. Customize presentations to resonate with each prospect's market position, team size, brand strategy, and other specific needs.Consultative Selling: Understand prospective clients' needs, pain points, and business objectives to tailor the Overproof value proposition effectively, for example, whether clients focus on on-premise, off-premise or both.

With that insight, provide guidance on how the product can address their unique challenges.Negotiation & Conversion: Manage the complete sales cycle to close deals and meet monthly quotas.Pipeline Management: Maintain consistent and accurate records of all interactions and sales activities in HubSpot.Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of product features, benefits, and use cases. Continuous Learning: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products and market dynamics. Networking: face-to-face meetings, sales calls, and any other activities that help foster relationships.Requirements:Passed Hubspot’s free Certification Course - “Hubspot Sales Software”Passed Hubspot’s free Certification Course - “Inbound Sales” Experience in the beverage alcohol industry as a field representative or in brand sales is a major plus.Sales skills including prospecting, qualifying leads, presenting solutions and closing deals are crucial. Product training will be provided but an aptitude for sales is necessary.Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or a related field.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Results-oriented with a focus on achieving sales targets and measurable results.Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing responsibilities independently.Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.Probationary Period:This position requires the candidate to complete a three-month paid probationary period where the candidate will be evaluated on performance.
