Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and self-starting Business Development Representative (BDR) to build and execute a powerful outbound sales motion. This role is critical to expanding our reach beyond our successful Product-Led Growth (PLG) strategy, driving new business opportunities through targeted outbound campaigns. Additionally, the BDR will take some first calls with potential clients and smoothly transition/hand them off to our Account Executives (AEs) for further engagement.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Intercom Support: Manage the Intercom support channel for a few hours each day to develop a deeper understanding of the product and gain valuable insights from customer feedback.

  • Outbound Campaign Strategy: Identify, design, and execute outbound sales campaigns aimed at generating high-quality leads. This includes but is not limited to LinkedIn, email, phone, and other innovative channels.

  • Lead Generation: Actively research and identify potential customers, develop prospecting strategies, and engage with leads to create new business opportunities.

  • Execution: Take ownership of outbound campaigns from concept to completion. This includes prospecting, outreach, nurturing, and converting leads into qualified opportunities for the sales team.

  • Analytics and Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of outbound campaigns. Use data-driven insights to iterate and optimize strategies for maximum impact.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment on messaging, target audiences, and campaign goals.

  • Initiative: Proactively explore and test new channels and methods for lead generation, constantly pushing the boundaries to find what works best for our target market.

What Success Looks Like:

Success in this role means developing a scalable outbound sales strategy that generates a steady and growing pipeline of qualified leads for the sales organization. Key indicators of success include:

  • Building a Scalable Outbound Strategy: Establishing an outbound motion that consistently delivers qualified leads and can be scaled as the company grows.

  • Generating Pipeline: Continuously feeding the sales pipeline with high-quality opportunities that align with our target market and product offerings.

  • Meeting or Exceeding KPIs: These include:

  • Number of Qualified Leads: Consistently hitting monthly targets for the number of leads generated and qualified through outbound efforts.

Qualifications:



  • Proven experience in a BDR, SDR, or similar role with a strong focus on outbound sales preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to create and execute successful outbound campaigns across multiple channels.

  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and target the right prospects.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with potential clients.

  • Experience conducting discovery calls and effectively transitioning leads to Account Executives (AEs).

  • Self-starter mentality with a passion for driving results and a track record of exceeding targets.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.

  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce or Attio) and sales engagement tools (e.g., MixMax, Outreach, SalesLoft) is a plus.

Compensation:



  • Base Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000

  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): $90,000 - $100,000Compensation will be based on experience and performance, with opportunities for growth as the role evolves.
