Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Appian Architect with a strong background in healthcare to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and implementing Appian-based solutions within the healthcare industry. This role requires deep expertise in Appian, combined with a thorough understanding of healthcare processes, regulations, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Design & Architecture
- Lead the design and architecture of Appian-based applications, ensuring they align with healthcare industry standards and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable, efficient, and secure Appian solutions.
- Application Development
- Oversee the development of Appian applications, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural guidelines.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Integration & Automation
- Design and implement integrations between Appian applications and other healthcare systems (e.g., EHR, EMR, claims processing).
- Leverage Appian’s automation capabilities to streamline healthcare workflows and improve operational efficiency.
- Compliance & Security
- Ensure all Appian solutions comply with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and other relevant standards.
- Implement security best practices to protect sensitive patient data and maintain the integrity of healthcare applications.
- Performance Optimization
- Monitor and optimize the performance of Appian applications, ensuring they meet the needs of healthcare providers and patients.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance, scalability, and usability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years focused on Appian.
- Significant experience working in the healthcare industry, with a deep understanding of healthcare processes, systems, and regulations.
- Proven experience in leading large-scale Appian implementations in a healthcare setting.
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in Appian architecture, design, and development.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare IT systems (EHR, EMR, etc.) and standards (HIPAA, HL7, FHIR).
- Proficiency in Java, SQL, and web technologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms and integration tools.
