Senior Solutions Architect

If so, this could be the job for you!We’re seeking a seasoned Senior Solutions Architect with substantial security expertise. This individual should excel at building strong relationships with prospects and customers, and delivering tailored solutions that address their current and future needs.
The ideal candidate will be well-versed in the latest security technologies and how to optimize them based on vertical and each customer's unique requirements. As part of a forward-thinking team, you will help transform the security landscape from a mindset of inevitable failure to one focused on risk reduction and incident mitigation. In this role, you will empower customers to better understand, influence, and minimize their security risks, and prepare them to effectively respond in the event of an incident.Responsibilities:
- Bridge the gap between the technical and business realms and create value for key stakeholders
- Work with Account Executives in specific regions to win net new logos
- Work with Account Managers & Technical Account Managers to maintain retention of existing key customers
- Simplify complex security problems to a range of audiences
- Work independently, collaboratively and cross-functionally as an active member of the Pondurance team
- Communicate and present to a range of audiences effectively
- Work with marketing to create effective technical content
- Embrace a customer first approach leveraging strong consultative skills developed from both successes and failures
- Ability to travel as required
Technologies:
- Experience with programming or scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, and Bash (preferred)
Knowledge & Skills:
- Sales engineering background or 5+ years of relevant work experience
- Advanced knowledge of endpoint security or network security space – AV, EDR, incident response, forensics, SIEM, firewall, HIPS/IDS, etc.
- Advanced experience in the security service provider space – MSSP, MDR, Vulnerability Management, Penetration Testing, etc
- Ability to provide expert recommendations on new solutions and improvements based on market trends
- Ability to do hands-on testing and playing with our solution (preferred)
- Knowledge of malware, threat intelligence, and/or sandbox analysis (preferred)
- Experience in an IT role specifically as an Admin (preferred)
- Deep understanding of the OSI model as well as industry compliance such as PCI, NIST, HIPAA, GDPR, etc (preferred)
- Understanding of encryption, privacy, risk management, and other important aspects that touch, influence or drive security decisions (preferred)
- Security Certifications (preferred)
