Title: BIESSE CNC WOOD ROUTER OPERATOR
As a Biesse CNC Wood Router Operator you will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings. Loading programs, setting, operating and maintaining CNC machines to cut, shape and create various wooden products ranging from furniture to intricate cutting pieces. Train and mentor junior machine operators.
Compensation:
Salary range between $15.50 - $20.00 – may be eligible for additional, discretionary incentive compensation based on individual and the firm’s performance.Compensation will be determined by a number of factors including educational background and experience.
What You’ll Do:
- Set up and prepare the work area for assembly tasks.
- Assemble parts according to instructions and quality standards using hand tools.
- Stack, cover, label, and band completed products as per procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, ensuring equipment is operational.
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report any issues.
- Verify that materials and finished products comply with standards.
- Keep accurate production records and participate in safety and continuous improvement programs.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 6 months of manufacturing experience.
- Wood and metal assembler experience.
- Basic math skills required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Physical Requirements:
- Light to moderate physical effort required.
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 5-15 pounds.
- Frequently required to stand and walk.
- Repetitive use of hands, including simple grasping, controlled grasping, and fine manipulation.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
