Summary: 
The Child Mind Institute is currently recruiting a Research Projects Coordinator for Special Projects, who will provide administrative oversight, and support in the planning, implementation and conduct of special projects and initiatives identified by research leadership. Responsibilities will range from assistance in the planning, coordination and conduct of studies, to data analysis and preparation of related manuscripts, presentations, and grant materials. Projects will vary substantively in nature depending on priorities set by leadership at a given time, ranging from literature searches and behavioral data analysis, to research project development and implementation; as such general administrative and analytic skillsets are required.

  • Work collaboratively in the development of project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource requirements and deliverables.
  • Understand and support global project goals including participant recruitment and quality assurance.
  • Implement project protocols and operational plans, which are consistent with strategic objectives.
  • Work with Research Leadership to refine and update project goals and scopes, as well as to ensure proper adherence to clinical and research regulations.
  • Coordinate and participate in the acquisition and analysis of research data. 
  • Provide administrative assistance for research project operations.

  • Supervise Junior Research Assistant when needed.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelors Degree required. Majors in neuroscience psychology, engineering, and computer science preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years research experience in medical, clinical and/or research environment.
  • Programming experience with one or more languages (Python, C++, R, Matlab) required.
  • Experience with preparation, submission, and maintenance of IRB protocols.
  • Good knowledge of standard office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
