For our UK manufacturing site in Telford, we are looking for a self-motivated and Quality Coordinator for a full-time permanent position, to start as soon possible Monday to Friday, flexi-time days.
As a Quality Coordinator you will:
- Receive Network orders at goods-in, booking them into the internal system following the completion of goods-in internal checks.
- Visually and dimensionally inspect network orders with basic metrology equipment (calipers, micrometers) following the customer specification via the internal computer system, recording all relevant data.
- Pack Network orders according to the packaging specification to ensure safe delivery to the end customer.
- Ship Network orders to the end customer via the internal shipping system.
- Liaise through the escalation process any quality concerns to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded.
- Collate production data, review and escalate ongoing issues to Quality Manager, and provide/recommend solutions where possible.
- Create defect books to start documenting/classifying defects in order to feed our Manufacturing guidelines.
- Attend quality meetings to discuss non-conformance data and provide possible solutions to route cause issues where possible.
- Ensure that all rejected / quarantined items are dealt with before the end of the shift.
What it takes:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of production processes, quality controls.
- Good organisational skills.
- You ideally have gained hands-on experience in daily visual/dimensional inspections with basic metrology equipment (calipers, micrometers)
- Able to read and write in English, and do basic arithmetic.

- 37.5 hours per week, permanent contract with regular breaks
