K2United is seeking an experienced Software Test Engineer to join our Quality Engineering Team. With attention to detail and excellent analytical and communication skills, this seat plays a crucial role, ensuring that K2United is delivering innovative solutions for our client's success. This position, while using Python and HTML/CSS, will create test processes and procedures to ensure that all information systems, products, and services meet the minimum organization standards and end-user requirements.
Our Software Test Engineer, under general supervision, will implement test plans, automation, and validation strategies, identify & investigate issues found during testing, update test cases based on discovered defects, and work with other members of the Product Development.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Identify and document test cases for application functions
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web applications
- Perform functional and system integration testing
- Validate application requirements for quality deliverables
- Work closely with the development team to resolve and limit defects

Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- 7 years of experience in the software development or software quality assurance fields
- Experience coding with Python and HTML/CSS
- Knowledge of QA methodology, including test planning, test reporting, bug reporting/management, and overall product life cycle.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience creating scripts using test automation/regression software such as Selenium
- Knowledge of source management software such as GIT
- Experience with issue-tracking software such as Jira
Work Environment:
In this role, there will be standard office equipment such as phones, computers, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
