Reports to: Senior Manager of Event Services; Operations Support ManagerSummary:Ensemble Arts Philly seeks Fall/Winter intern to join our Audience Experience team.Join the Audience Experience team in presenting world-class art at Ensemble Arts Philly. During your internship you will witness and participate in the fully life cycle of an artistic presentation, from the first steps in preparation to the moment the curtain rises. During your 12 weeks with Ensemble Arts Philly you will: 

  • Work with our Senior Manager of Event Services and our Operations Support Manager to advance and prepare for various performances, events and festivals. 
  • Shadow and assist our Venue Managers as the prepare  our historical venues for incoming tours, weddings, community outreach events and more! Learn the daily ins and outs of managing three of the busiest preforming arts venues in the city.
  • Collaborate with our House Management Team to grow skills  in people management, guest services and event management. Participate in the presentation of Broadway tours at the Academy of Music and Miller Theater. 
  • Intern will attend  “lunch and learns” with various members of our organization, to learn more about their roles at Ensemble Arts Philly and how their work impacts our Philadelphia Arts Community.
  • Intern will complete internship with a short presentation on their time with us this Fall, given at their farewell party. 
  • Intern will be an attendee at Ensemble Arts Philly advancing meetings, building tours, capitol project meetings and seasonal post-mortems, allowing the candidate to see the full picture of event advancement and work in the preforming arts.

Some exciting presentations you will see during your internship: The Philadelphia Orchestra’s Opening Night, Hamilton, The Philadelphia Ballet’s Nutcracker and many more exciting events and performances!Start Date: September 26th End Date: December 31stStart and End dates are malleable.
