The Position:
We are looking for a talented professional to join our growing finance and accounting team.What are we looking for? You are tech-savvy, a great analytical problem solver, and clear communicator. You are a leader that’s not afraid to get your hands dirty and can get things done with minimal guidance. You demonstrate high energy and passion for your work. You are super organized, possess technical accounting and reporting skills, and would like to work in a high growth environment. You are interested in taking ownership of your work and building a company as a member of a high-performing team.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Own key accounts payable and expense recognition processes within the accounting organization.
- Participate in monthly close including review of journal entries and account reconciliations, as well as financial reporting.
- Generate key metrics and financial reports directly to the CFO.
- Working with technology and accounting systems to prepare the company’s financial statements w/ particular focus on bills and expense accruals.
- Research, upgrade and document internal controls, procedures and policies.
- Complete and support special projects aimed at improving our operational efficiency and reporting.
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Relevant work, extracurricular experience
- Familiarity with Sage Intacct or other enterprise accounting software
