We currently operate in the States of Illinois, New York, Massachusetts, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Colorado and Michigan as a medical and/or adult use cannabis provider to patients and customers. Pharmacann has positioned itself to be the dominant national player in the cannabis industry because of its massive footprint and incredible lineup of products and brands. Results can only be achieved through a highly engaged sales team, where salespeople are provided a clear plan to succeed while fully understanding the influence they have over their own compensation.  Field Sales Reps at Pharmacann can expect to be paid at the top of the industry pay range when delivering results in 3 primary KPI categories: Volume ($ growth), Distribution (Diversification) and In-store execution (Velocity). This position is all about GROWTH.   This role is about being out in the field hunting for new business, while working with existing accounts to grow distribution (skus x stores).  This is one of the most exciting and fun jobs in the profession of sales.At Pharmacann, you can expect to have the highest level of support and best tools to do your job well and reach 100% achievement and beyond.  Our outside sales role is the perfect combination of selling and Cannabis, combined into one! Starting salary for this position ranges from $75,000 - $85,000 per year

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Key Account Growth within our existing customer base
  • Delivering Territory Volume ($revenue) targets
  • Oversees In-Store Execution/Programming (education, brand ambassadorship) to increase sales velocity
  • Execution of joint business planning across multiple markets
  • Prepares and presents sales reports to track leads and execute follow-up
  • Order execution across multiple markets
  • Supports the development of new accounts and key customer relationships
  • Develop pipeline, targets, and innovative strategies to increase opportunities and sales in the market.
  • Creates and organizes promotional events, updates sales menus and product availability databases
  • Works with the Regional Director in collaboration with the marketing team to help develop promotional plans,campaigns, and educational initiatives to attract the interest of and capture new customers.
  • Supports the efforts of the Field Team to drive increased sales volume
  • Ensures proper inventory levels are maintained based on current market trends and collaborative demand planning
  • Stays abreast of industry, customer, and competitive product landscape.
  • Maintains regular communication with customers to understand their needs.
  • Builds a strong base of industry expertise
  • Attends industry events, improve buyer relationships, and provide competitive market insights
  • Expense reporting to ensure timely reimbursements.

Qualifications:


  • A track record in business development and key account management.
  • A strong sales track record in driving revenue, achieving growth and building strong customer relationships.
  • Experience of exceeding sales quotas
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of the cannabis industry, regulations, market trends and competition highly preferred
  • Ability to recognize and respond to changing trends and priorities.
  • Ability to work in and foster a collaborative team environment.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to travel within the State regularly.

Required Experience:


  • At least 2 years of professional sales experience, with at least 1 in a B2B sales outside sales channel‬. Cannabis experiencepreferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Google Suite. Experience with Leaflink and Leaftrade a plus.
  • Solid understanding of the cannabis industry, cannabis laws, rules and regulations with the ability to stay current on anychanges for the industry.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Successful candidates will be results oriented, driven, detail oriented, enthusiastic, organized and possess excellentcommunication skills.
  • Must understand and comply with the rules, regulations, policies and procedures of Pharmacann

Working Conditions:


  • Capable of working from remote location(s) within IL with periodic visits to cultivation facilities.
  • Must be able to travel within the state, up to 50% of the time.
  • Responsibilities may include evening and weekend hours, as job duties demand.
  • Capacity to pay up-front for work/travel related expenses which are reimbursed every 2 weeks.
