About the Role


Home Solutions seeks a detail-oriented Billing Associate to join the Finance team and play a crucial role in managing our billing process with precision and efficiency. Responsibilities include reconciling revenue data, ensuring accurate invoicing, and maintaining accounts payable records. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheets are key for success in this position.Location: Raleigh or Charlotte, NC

Your Day-to-Day


  • Billing: Accurately process a high volume of invoices monthly, ensuring timely reconciliation of data across systems.
  • Accounts Payable: Manage accounts payable functions by processing invoices and managing vendor onboarding procedures.
  • Data Entry: Efficiently input billing and payment information into accounting systems.
  • Documentation: Maintain proper documentation of invoices, payments, and financial transactions.
  • Communication: Collaborate with internal departments, vendors, and clients to address billing discrepancies and inquiries.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on billing activities, accounts payable status, and financial metrics.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and accounting regulations in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Problem Solving: Promptly identify and resolve billing and accounts payable issues

About You


  • Demonstrated experience as a  Billing Associate, Accounts Payable Specialist, or in a comparable role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar platforms.
  • Strong numerical proficiency coupled with keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Capability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with US GAAP, as well as regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
  • Capacity to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and responsibilities.
  • Upholding a high standard of integrity and maintaining confidentiality concerning financial information.
