American Battery Solutions has a full-time opening for a Production Operator Lead in Springboro, Ohio.
3rd shift 11 pm to 7:30 am
Job Summary
Lead the operators to assemble and produce products to meet customer requirements and expectations. The Lead is responsible for overseeing, conducting and training operators on hands-on assembly, debugging, and verification of modules and battery pack systems. The production operator lead is charged with leading operators in the launch and assembly of new products.
Responsibilities
- Assembly products to customer requirements and company goals
- Adhere to corporate, federal, and state employment policies
- Lead by example to adhere to company rules and policies.
- Perform collection of downtime and production records for OEE
- Assign operators to workstations with rotation during shift.
- Lead inventory of manufacturing area
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
- Perform Preventive maintenance activities to support TPM
- Lead efforts in developing, implementing, and maintaining the TPM system
- Support MRO Planner with daily activities
- Adhere to and support compliance to ergonomic guidelines
- Participate when required in PFMEA and work instruction reviews
- Identify and support continuous improvement projects (e.g., cost reduction, efficiency improvements, etc.)
- Assist with specification development for machinery and equipment.
- Follow and adhere to all safety procedures and policies
- Support weekend and off-shift work as required
- Other duties as assigned
- Predictable and reliable attendance
Position Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Preferred manufacturing experience
- Working knowledge of quality systems such as ISO 9001or IATF 16949
- Adhere to all company policies and rules.
- Able to work in a team environment
