Job Objective:
Lead and oversee engineering projects including design and construction of midstream assets such as pipelines, storage facilities, processing plants, and related infrastructure. Mentor engineers, develop standards, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high quality and safety standards.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Engineering Team Leadership and Technical Deliverables
- Mentor engineers and apply engineering and drafting standards.
- Plan and execute engineering design support, ensuring technical expertise in material selection, fabrication, construction, and commissioning.
- Collaborate with the Project Director to meet project scope, budget, and schedules.
- Conduct technical reviews for code adherence, constructability, and operability.
- Innovate project execution to reduce costs, improve quality, and enhance safety.
- Create schedules and estimates, identifying engineering risks.
- Lead technical integration and manage technical interfaces.
- Develop RFP/RFQ documents, conduct technical bid reviews, and address technical queries.
- Support construction and commissioning with timely technical decisions.
- Document designs clearly for safe and efficient operations.
Engineering Implementation and Contractor Management
- Build and maintain a strong engineering team and external resource pool.
- Manage relationships with key resources and conduct kick-off meetings.
- Assist with permitting projects and interface with regulatory agencies.
- Set scope and terms of engineering contracts, ensuring alignment with cost and constructability.
- Define clear scopes of work and contractor performance management plans.
- Approve resource plans and budgets, assess contractor competency, and ensure deliverables meet schedules.

Qualifications:
- 15+ years of Engineering experience
- Experience in management role and working within a multidisciplinary team preferred.
- Experience supporting Operating and Maintenance activities preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with high accuracy and precision.
- Excellent communication, administrative, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year university or college with a degree in Engineering
- Preferred: Master’s in engineering or Business
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:
- Preferred: Professional Engineer Certification
