, one of the most respected and rapidly growing agencies focused on family-oriented brands, along with its sister company, FamFluence Talent Management, the leading talent management agency representing the top-performing talent in the family space across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, seek a Full-Time Director of Finance & Administration to help support the growth of both agencies.Who We Are:Brilliant is a boutique marketing agency with nearly 30 team members, offering a wide range of services, including public relations, influencer marketing, social media, paid media and affiliate marketing.FamFluence is a talent management agency with 20 team members, exclusively managing over 120 creators. Both agencies are completely remote.
Team members are expected to be available online and working during regular business hours, 8AM-5PM, in your time zone (within the continental United States).What We Do:Brilliant is in its second decade as a fully remote company and is one of the most respected agencies serving consumer lifestyle brands with a specific focus on products, brands, and services for families including baby and maternity, toys and games, tech, housewares, haircare and food. Our sister agency, FamFluence was founded in 2020 and is the first and only agency to exclusively manage family-friendly talent.

Core Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, Finance, Accounting, or a similar applicable field is required. Graduate work or CPA certification is a plus
- 10-15 years of directly related experience is required.
- Experience within the Professional Services industry with a proven ability to lead, manage and influence others is preferred
- Proven ability to manage full cycle accounting through Financial Statement preparation and presentation
- Solid understanding of accrual accounting (unearned revenue, prepaid expenses)
- Experience with complex budgets and forecasting is a must
- Ability to analyze new business pipeline against current staff capacity and work with ELT and HR departments to recommend and approve hires for various departments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; high bandwidth communicator
- Proven success in managing large projects in a complex environment is preferred
- Understanding of advanced accounting, regulatory issues, and tax planning
- Knowledge of payroll processes and systems, payroll taxes, accounting methods and third-party reimbursement systems
- QuickBooks Online Experience (required)
- Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets
- Experience with database and financial software integrations is a plus
- Understanding of IT systems a plus
- Experience with multi entity accounting and consolidated financial statements a plus

Job Description:
- Lead and direct the finance function with a balance of strategic and operational initiatives that support the growth ambition of the business
- Oversee and direct treasury, budgeting, audit, tax, accounting, purchasing, invoicing, long range forecasting, and insurance activities for the organization
- Direct and grow the finance and admin team, including IT support, HR and all accounting staff
- Coordinate tax reporting
- Analyze, consolidate and direct all cost accounting procedures together with routine reports for the President and CEO.
- Direct and analyze studies of general economic, business and financial conditions and their impact on the organization’s policies and operations.
- Analyze operational issues impacting functional groups and the institution as a whole to determine their financial impact.
- Prepare consolidated financial statements by the 15th of each month and report back to senior leadership
- Manage Forecast reporting.
- Create meaningful hours reports, projecting staff time three months out based on staff billable hours to integrate with the hiring plan/timing
- Drive automation and process optimization of financial processes
- Oversee the administration of the organization’s 401k retirement plan and ensure compliance with COBRA, IRS, ERISA and other related regulations

Salary: Depends on experience and skills. $120,000 to $135,000 annually plus year end bonus.
