If you're a strategic thinker with a passion for detail and a proven track record in event management, seize this opportunity to be a driving force behind Forward Networks' market success.Your role involves planning, coordinating, and executing federal and commercial trade shows, ensuring flawless logistics and successful outcomes. You will lead the project management of company conference appearances, trade shows, and internal events.You'll need a keen understanding of federal and commercial trade show requirements and your responsibilities will extend to coordinating with internal creative teams for booth designs, promotional materials, and managing setup and breakdown of event spaces. Cultivating relationships with organizers and stakeholders, effective communication with sales and finance teams, and analyzing event performance metrics are integral aspects of this role.Responsibilities:
- Manage, coordinate, and respond in a timely manner to all communication from third-party vendors and partners
- Handle calendar event tracking and all functions to set up live events
- Collaborate with creative team on all aspects of the live event
- Prepare rental quotes for live events, including, fees, supplies, equipment rentals, security, and contracted labor.
- Handle on-site operations such as allocating resources effectively, recognizing and anticipating problems, and reacting quickly to provide solutions.
- Ensure fidelity of on-screen product presentations by diligently checking the operation and maintenance of AV equipment
- Communicate job expectations to event ground-teams plan, monitor, appraise, and enforce booth schedules
- Perform weekly inventories
- Analyze each event’s performance and prepare performance reporting
Requirements:
- Ability to travel (domestic and international) up to 50%
- Must possess excellent communication skills
- Hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays
- Minimum 5 years experience as an events manager in a technology-related business
- Experience in a live event environment
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft and Google tools
- Strong organizational planning and time management skills
The base pay range for this role is between $120,000 and $150,000. Base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location
