Role: 


Card Kingdom is looking for a detail-oriented and strongly analytical staff accountant to join our finance team. This position will play a crucial role within our finance team, and will contribute to Card Kingdom’s success by reviewing, analyzing, and posting corporate financial data to financial systems in an accurate and timely manner. You will be working closely with internal and external customers/vendors to resolve any questions, concerns, or disputes. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles and a passion for accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities:


  • Reviews, balances, and posts corporate financial data from multiple systems into the general ledger 
  • Performs month-end closing activities and account reconciliations, and owns assigned tasks to ensure completion in an accurate and timely manner
  • Reconciles bank accounts; identifies and resolves discrepant items 
  • Accurately reviews, codes, and processes vendor invoices into ERP in a timely manner 
  • Addresses and responds to vendor inquiries
  • Addresses and responds to internal Finance inquiries through ticketing system
  • Prepares supporting documentation for balance sheet accounts as well as journal entries 
  • Participates in developing and implementing solutions 
  • Serves as backup support to other team members 
  • Analyze financial information to provide financial insight and recommendations about efficient use of resources 
  • Participates in ad hoc projects and assignments as needed 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to implement new systems and processes. 

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or related field.  
  • 1-3 years of accounting experience.  
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including intermediate to advanced Excel skills – ability to use pivot tables, nested formulas, etc. 
  • Experience with Power BI and Microsoft Dynamics preferred
  • Self-motivated, driven, and able to balance multiple projects. 
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Previous experience working in a fast paced, high growth and rapidly evolving organization. 
  • Executes effectively by using resources efficiently, meeting deadlines, and keeping others informed of work plans and progress toward goals 
  • Strong communicator, comfortable presenting your ideas and findings to leadership.

Job Type / Salary


  • Full Time 
  • Exempt: Salaried $62,500 - $83,600 Annually Depending on Location and Experience
