About the role:
With our global footprint and hyper-growth, we are now looking to hire an IT Support to be part of our growing global team. As an IT Support, you will be the first point of contact globally for day-to-day operations. You will have the opportunity to build the foundations for IT Support here at Snappr - setting a strategic direction, building processes, and standard operating policies, and growing your team of IT professionals as the organization grows.
What you'll do:
- Job Description
General IT and Desktop Support- Provide support to all our employees across all Snappr locations via helpdesk, email, chat, and in-person walk-ups
- Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify solutions to resolve system issues across all Mac & Windows-based computers, mobile devices, and other technology products/applications used by our employees
- Diagnose and provide basic network support
System Access and Application Support- Create and/or maintain user access, accounts, passwords, data integrity and security across various systems and applications used by Snappr
- Ensure attrited employees are offboarded from all systems and applications in a timely manner
- Help evaluate hardware and software solutions needed by the Ops teams
Asset and Endpoint Management- Install and configure computer systems and applications within the company
- Perform hardware repairs, upgrades and migrations and work with 3rd party vendors.
- Support endpoint security standards (2FA, antivirus, firewall, etc.)
- Purchase all computers and IT peripherals, and keep track of all our IT-related assets by coming up with an asset management tracker and process.
Other IT projects and initiatives- Support technical requirements for onsite events
- Update, and/or implement all processes and policies related to the following key areas;
- Incident and Request Management
- Information Security
- IT Access Management
- Asset Management
What you'll need
- 4+ years of professional experience in Information Technology
- Communicates effectively in English
- Strong technical knowledge of Mac and Windows operating systems and other relevant software
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals and support experience (connectivity, VPN, printing, etc.)
- Familiar with common access/authentication systems and tools (e.g. Rippling) is a plus
- Familiar with Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack, MS Office, and other commonly used tools
