Based in the heart of NYC, we're on the hunt for a dynamic Social Media Intern (Part-Time) to join our team. In this contract-based role, you'll play a crucial part in enhancing our online presence and connecting with our audience across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Film and edit engaging video content for Flowcode's social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram). Assist in writing compelling copy for posts.
- Campaign Support: Collaborate with the team to create content for Flowcode campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall brand strategy.
- Community Management: Monitor and respond to social media interactions, engaging with our audience to build a positive and active community.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay current with social media trends and industry developments. Provide insights and recommendations for leveraging new opportunities.
- Performance Tracking: Help track and analyze social media metrics to support continuous improvement and optimize engagement strategies.
- Content Scheduling: Assist with scheduling posts and managing the content calendar to ensure consistent and timely updates.
- Competitor Analysis: Conduct research on competitor activities and industry trends to inform content strategies and identify new opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field.
- Experience in filming and editing videos for social media.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends.
- Basic copywriting skills with attention to detail.
- Creative, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Prior experience with social media management or content creation is preferred but not required.
