Procurement Administrator

Growing aerospace company looking for an entry-level Procurement Administrator to support the department on a day-to-day basis. The ideal candidate for this position would possess strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. As well as working with other departments to solve procurement problems.

Essential Responsibilities


  • Expedites purchase orders from various suppliers.
  • Follows-up on purchase orders in process by confirming and communicating expected delivery dates.
  • Tracks all information from vendors on estimated shipping dates (ESD) and refreshes information timely in Quantum.
  • Provides information and follow-up to Sales Team related to delivery and work order parts complete.
  • Works with Purchasing Coordinator to understand and execute purchase orders.
  • Processing of Credit Card Authorization as requested /approved by Purchasing Coord/Manager.
  • Uploading important documentation to Quantum in support of Purchase Orders
  • Tracking Vendor Quotes for Purchasing reference
  • Able to learn skills to buy products to support Non-Inventory Requisitions.
  • Performs administrative tasks and other duties to support purchasing department as assigned by the Purchasing Manager.

Experience and Skills


  • 1-2 years of administrative
  • Highly proficient with MS Office programs, especially Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Positive and professional attitude
  • Strong organizational, prioritization and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in fast paced environment

Physical Requirements


  • The ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
  • The ability to walk up stairs
  • Sitting, standing or moving for long periods of time

Education


  • High School Diploma, some college is preferred

Compensation and Benefits


  • Full Time Salary position commensurate with experience. ($23 - $27)
