Job Summary:


The Administrative Assistant will provide crucial support to the Chief Traditional WellnessOfficer (CTWO) and the Traditional Wellness team. This role is designed to enhance theeffectiveness and efficiency of the CTWO and the department by performing a range ofadministrative and coordinating tasks. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent judgment,communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple prioritieseffectively.

Key Responsibilities:


• Draft and distribute emails, correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms.• Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, typing, copying, binding, andscanning.• Assist the Chief Traditional Wellness Officer with credit card receipt tracking andfinancial documentation.• Aid in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports and presentations.• Manage the CTWO’s Microsoft Office OneDrive and Outlook accounts.• Schedule and organize meetings, appointments, and events for the CTWO.• Maintain office and building supplies inventory by monitoring stock levels, anticipatingneeds, placing orders, and verifying receipt.• Handle sensitive information and discussions with discretion and professionalism.• Work independently on various tasks and projects with minimal supervision.• Upload check requests for approval and signature.• Utilize DocuSign, Adobe, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint asneeded.• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


• High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.• Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience in a professional setting, preferablywithin a nonprofit organization.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.• Ability to handle complaints and conflicts in a calm and professional manner.• Experience working with homeless and/or low-income populations is desired.• Valid WA state driver’s license preferred.• Familiarity with Native American culture and/or experience working with NativeAmerican populations is desired.

Physical Requirements:


• Position involves sitting and performing indoor work, including extended periods at acomputer.• Frequent use of hands and wrists for tasks such as typing and handling office equipment.• Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
