We were recognized as one of Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies in Consumer Electronics in 2019, 2022, and 2023.We are seeking a Refurbishment Program Manager to oversee the refurbishment process of our returned hubs and covers.

This role will manage the end-to-end refurbishment operations, including handling both units returned during the 30-day trial period and those returned due to defects. The candidate will work closely with third-party refurbishers to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and report progress regularly.This role is based out of our North San Jose, CA 3rd party facility and will require five days a week in the office.

How you’ll contribute



  • Oversee and manage the refurbishment program for returned units

  • Track and report weekly metrics, including the number of units received, processed, and ready for shipment

  • Collaborate with third-party refurbishment providers to ensure quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness of operations. For example, identify opportunities to optimize unit processing throughput (UPH) and minimize costs per unit

  • Ensure all returned units undergo appropriate testing, cleaning, and repackaging processes.

  • Manage the repair process for damaged units, ensuring efficient handling and troubleshooting

  • Monitor and analyze refurbishment costs, finding ways to reduce expenses while increasing productivity

  • Provide detailed reports to upper management on program performance, cost control, and improvement strategies

What you need to succeed



  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, or a related field

  • Proven experience in program management, preferably in a mechanical or systems-oriented environment

  • Strong mechanical testing skills with an understanding of system-level testing and debugging

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to write detailed progress reports and collaborate with third-party vendors

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines

  • Experience in cost optimization and process improvement is highly preferred
